In the early 20th century, a man named Ewan Gillies lived on a quiet stretch of land on Florida’s Gulf Coast. That was until the government seized it under eminent domain, forcing him to leave the ranch he had spent his life building. Rather than surrender it, he set fire to his home and disappeared into the flames.

Decades later, that same land became the site of Ringling College’s film school.

Some say strange things started happening almost immediately. Students reported hearing whispers in empty edit suites. Items moving on their own. Strange and frightening events keep occurring.

For years, these stories were dismissed as technical failures, overworked students imagining things. But the footage we’ve gathered? The interviews? The evidence?

Maybe Ewan never left.
